Scuba Diving from Göynük
Clear, deep water off Göynük
Göynük lies on a stretch of coast where the mountains meet clear, deep water. Our scuba diving boat leaves from Kemer Marina, just a short drive south, and visits dive sites along this rocky shore.
For beginners and certified divers
You do not need a licence. Beginners get a briefing, try the equipment at the surface and then dive with an instructor; certified divers join guided dives. Minimum age is 12.
| Place | As the crow flies |
|---|---|
| Kemer Marina (dive boat) | about 8 km |
| Antalya Airport | about 35 km |
| Kaleiçi old town | about 25 km |
The road is slightly longer than the line on the map. Göynük to Kemer Marina on Google Maps.
The programme
The boat leaves the marina in the morning. You make two dives with an instructor, with a break and lunch on board in between, and you are back in the afternoon. All equipment is included.
Because Göynük is so close to the marina, the transfer is short, which leaves more energy for the dives.
The rocky shore here often shelters octopus and sea urchins between the boulders.
