Suluada Island Boat Tour from Adrasan

Why people call it the Turkish Maldives

Suluada is a small, uninhabited island off Adrasan, at the southern end of the Antalya coast. One side has a strip of fine white sand where the sea stays shallow for a long way, and that is what gives the water its pale turquoise colour. Our Suluada boat tour is a full day out: an early drive to Adrasan, a relaxed boat trip along the cape, and plenty of time to swim at the island.

How the day goes

We pick you up between about 06:30 and 07:30, depending on where you are staying, and drive to Adrasan harbour. The boat leaves at 10:00. On the way to the island you pass the Adrasan lighthouse and the rock formations known locally as Hacivat and Karagöz, named after the two characters of Turkish shadow theatre.

At Suluada you can swim, snorkel or just sit in the shallow water. The island also has a small freshwater spring, which is where its name, "island with water", comes from. The boat starts back towards Adrasan at about 15:30, and depending on traffic you are back at your hotel by around 18:30.

Lunch on board

An open-buffet lunch is served on the boat with a mix of local dishes. Drinks are not included in the price and can be bought on board.
