The evening, as our guests see it

The photos and videos on this page come from our Antalya sunset boat tour. They are not edited to look like a postcard; they show what an ordinary evening on board looks like, from the late-afternoon departure to the moment the sun disappears behind the mountains.

Light on the cliffs

The best part of the trip, for photographers at least, is the last hour before sunset. The cliffs between Antalya and Lara turn orange and then pink, and the Düden Waterfall catches the light as it falls into the sea. In the gallery you will see the waterfall from the boat and the coast glowing behind it.

On deck

Several photos show the boat itself: the open deck where most guests spend the evening, the seating areas and the table where dinner is served. Others show guests swimming in a quiet cove before dinner, which is a lovely way to cool off after a hot day.

Dinner at sea

Dinner is cooked on board and served as the light fades: grilled chicken, pasta, salad, haydari and fruit. Our videos give you an idea of the atmosphere, relaxed and unhurried, with the sound of the water rather than loud music.

Who goes on the sunset tour

Couples make up a big part of our sunset guests, often on an anniversary or the last night of their holiday. Families also like it because the evening is cooler than the middle of the day.

Photo tip

For your own pictures, stand at the side of the boat facing west about 20 minutes before sunset, and switch off the flash.
