Porto Ceneviz Boat Tour from Antalya

Three bays you can only reach by boat

South-west of Antalya, beyond Kemer and Tekirova, the mountains come straight down to the sea and there are hardly any roads along the shore. That is where the Porto Ceneviz boat tour goes. It is a full day of about eight hours, built around swimming in clear, quiet bays rather than entertainment on board, and it is one of our favourite trips for nature lovers.

The bays on the route

• Porto Ceneviz: a deep, narrow bay between high cliffs. There is no road down to it, which keeps it calm and unspoilt.
• Sazak Bay: a sheltered cove with pine trees down to the water, good for snorkelling. See photos.
• Akseki Bay: clear, deep blue water under pale rock walls. See photos.

Lunch and service on board

Lunch is cooked on the boat and served at one of the anchor stops. Between swims you can relax on deck in the sun or in the shade. Our crew has been sailing this coast for years and knows which bay is calmest on a windy day.

Mud bath on the shore

On the way, the boat comes in close to a stretch of shore with natural clay mud that many locals believe is good for the skin. If you feel like it, step off, cover yourself in the mud bath, let it dry in the sun for a few minutes and then wash it off with a swim. It is optional, but most guests try it, and it makes for some of the funniest photos of the day.

Who it suits
