Pirate Boat Tour from Göynük
Göynük children vote for the pirate ship
Göynük is packed with family hotels and kids' clubs, yet when parents ask what the children want to do outside the resort, the answer is often the pirate boat tour. A wooden ship dressed as a galleon, a crew in eye patches and a foam party on deck are hard to compete with.
A quicker ride than from southern Kemer
Göynük lies north of Kemer town, so the bus reaches Antalya sooner than it would from Tekirova or Çamyuva. It follows the coast past Beldibi to the fishermen's harbour in Konyaaltı.
| Place | As the crow flies |
|---|---|
| Konyaaltı Fishermen's Shelter (boat departure) | about 20 km |
| Antalya Airport | about 35 km |
| Kaleiçi old town | about 25 km |
Real road distance is longer than these straight-line values. Göynük route on Google Maps.
The day at sea
The ship leaves Konyaaltı at 10:00. Turtle Bay is the first swim; lunch, an open buffet with grilled chicken, pasta, salads and fruit, is served at anchor below the Düden Waterfall. Then come face painting, games and the foam, before the ship returns around 16:00.
If you hiked the Göynük Canyon earlier in the week, this makes a perfect rest day: no walking, just sea, sun and music.

Göynük FAQs
Can grandparents join? Of course. There are shaded seats for anyone who prefers watching to swimming.
How is it different from the Relax tour? The Relax tour is shorter and quiet, with no games or foam; the pirate boat is lively and lasts most of the day.
