Scuba Diving in Antalya

Your first breath underwater

Many of our divers have never worn a mask and tank before. That is fine: scuba diving in Antalya is an ideal place to start. The water is warm for most of the year, visibility is usually good and the dive sites we use are sheltered. Our instructors speak several languages and take the time to make sure you feel comfortable before you go under.

How a beginner dive works

Before the first dive, the instructors explain the basics on board: how to breathe through the regulator, how to equalise your ears and the hand signals you will use underwater. Then you practise in shallow water. Beginners dive to around 5–6 metres, always with an instructor right beside them. Calm sites such as Aquarium Bay are perfect for this, with plenty of fish to look at as soon as you are under the surface.

For certified divers

If you already have a licence, the second dive of the day takes you deeper, to sites with more varied rock formations and richer marine life. Bring your certification card and logbook, and let us know your level when you book so we can plan the right group.

A relaxed day on the boat

Diving is only part of the day. Between dives you can sunbathe on deck, swim and enjoy lunch on board. We pick you up from your hotel and take you back afterwards, so all you need to bring is swimwear, a towel and sun cream.

Included

  • Hotel transfer to the marina and back
  • All diving equipment
  • Instructor or dive guide
  • Lunch on board
  • Insurance

Good to know

You should be in good general health. If you have heart or lung conditions, asthma or a cold, please talk to us before booking. Avoid flying for 24 hours after diving. For a full programme with timings, see our Antalya scuba diving tour page, and for prices from Kemer, see scuba diving in Kemer.
