Diving in Kemer for beginners and certified divers

Kemer is one of the easiest places on the Antalya coast to try scuba diving. The bays south of the town are sheltered, the water is clear for most of the season and the dive sites are only a short boat ride from the marina. Our Kemer scuba diving tour is open to complete beginners as well as certified divers; the instructors adjust each dive to your experience.

Below you will find the full programme for the day together with current prices.

How the day runs

• Hotel pickup: in the morning, from hotels in the Kemer area.
• Kemer Marina: check-in, a short safety briefing and fitting of your equipment.
• Return: back at the marina in the afternoon, then transfer to your hotel.

Two dives: Kiriş and Moonlight Bay

The first dive takes place near Kiriş. Beginners start in shallow water, practise breathing with the regulator and get used to the equipment before going a little deeper with an instructor at their side. The second dive is at Moonlight Bay (Ayışığı Koyu), where you swim over rocky reef and, with a bit of luck, meet octopus and shoals of small fish. Certified divers can go deeper on this dive.

Lunch on board

Between the two dives you have time to rest on deck and eat. Lunch is an open buffet with fresh salads, a grilled main course and rice. Vegetarian and vegan options are available if you tell us when you book.

Both packages include all diving equipment, the instructors and insurance.

Before you book

You do not need a licence to join, but you should be in good health and comfortable in the water. If you have heart or lung problems, high blood pressure or a recent ear infection, please check with a doctor first. Do not fly within 24 hours after diving. To reserve, send us your date and hotel name and we will confirm your place.
