Pirate Boat Tour from Kundu
Swap the all-inclusive pool for open sea
The resorts of Kundu are huge, with water parks and kids' clubs of their own. Still, a real ship beats a pool slide, and the pirate boat tour from Kundu is the trip children here talk about afterwards: a wooden galleon, sword-waving crew and a deck full of foam.
Crossing the city
Kundu lies just east of Lara. The bus collects guests along the hotel strip, then drives through Antalya to the fishermen's harbour in Konyaaltı.
| Place | As the crow flies |
|---|---|
| Konyaaltı Fishermen's Shelter (boat departure) | about 20 km |
| Antalya Airport | about 6 km |
| Kaleiçi old town | about 10 km |
Distances are measured in a straight line; city traffic makes the drive longer. Kundu to Konyaaltı on Google Maps.
On board
The ship sails at 10:00 for Turtle Bay, then anchors beneath the Düden Waterfall for lunch and a long swim. Afternoon means music, contests and the foam party before the return at around 16:00.
Kundu hotels usually serve breakfast early enough for the pickup, but ask reception for a packed breakfast if your bus comes before the restaurant opens. Bring a dry T-shirt for the ride home, as the foam leaves everyone soaked.
