Pirate boat tour: the fun, family-friendly classic

The pirate boat leaves Konyaaltı Fishermen's Shelter at 10:00 and spends about six hours at sea. The first stop is Turtle Bay for a 30-minute swim. Around 12:00 we serve an open-buffet lunch in the Düden waterfall area, followed by roughly an hour of swimming near the falls. The last swim stop is off the Lara hotel coast before we head back to Konyaaltı at about 16:00. In between there is music, animation and the famous foam party. If your kids are the reason you are booking, this is almost always the one. Our guide to boat tours with kids has more tips.

Relax boat tour: the calm alternative

Not everyone wants loud music on deck. The Relax tour has no loud party focus. The route takes in the Düden waterfall at Düdenpark, the caves of Lara bay, a coastal grotto and several swim stops, with about five hours on the water. This is the tour we usually recommend to couples, older guests and anyone who simply wants to float in clear water and enjoy the coastline. If the waterfall is the highlight for you, read our post on seeing the Düden waterfall from the sea.

Suluada island tour: the Turkish Maldives

Suluada is the tour our guests photograph the most: white sand, turquoise lagoons and water so clear you can see your feet. It is a long day, though. We pick you up between 06:30 and 07:30 depending on your area and drive to Adrasan, where the boat departs at 10:00. Lunch is an open buffet on board, the return to Adrasan starts at 15:30, and you are back at your hotel around 18:30. In total that is about 10–11 hours. It is ideal for swimmers and photographers who don't mind an early start, but less ideal for toddlers.

Porto Ceneviz boat tour: hidden bays and snorkelling

Porto Ceneviz bay can only be reached by sea, which is exactly what makes it special. The tour also visits Sazak Bay, framed by pine trees and great for snorkelling, and Akseki Bay. A freshly cooked lunch is served on board, and transfer, lunch and a guide are all included. Plan for about eight hours including transfer. The price is €45.

Alibaba Deluxe and private yachts in brief

The Alibaba Deluxe boat is another pirate-style family boat from the same harbour at 10:00, with Turtle Bay, lunch and foam parties, from €35. It is a good alternative if you like the pirate concept and want another option on your dates.

Our private yachts are exclusive to your group, with VIP transfer and a custom route and time. They are popular for marriage proposals, anniversaries, birthdays and family celebrations. Prices are individual, so please contact us before booking. Read more in our private yacht guide.

The best Antalya boat tour by traveller type

Boat tours for families with young children

Pirate or Alibaba Deluxe: shorter transfers than Suluada, plenty of swim stops and a foam party that kids talk about for days.

Couples and honeymooners

Relax for a peaceful day, Suluada for postcard views, or a private yacht if you want the boat to yourselves.

Active swimmers and snorkellers

Porto Ceneviz or Suluada: both are about bays and clear water rather than entertainment.

Older guests or anyone who prefers quiet

Relax: no loud party, a gentle pace and the waterfall seen from the sea.
