Antalya Waterfall Boat Tour: Seeing Düden from the Sea

Antalya Waterfall Boat Tour | Düden Falls from the Sea

Antalya is one of the few cities where a river falls straight off a cliff into the sea. The lower Düden waterfall drops from the plateau near Lara into the Mediterranean, and the best way to see it is from the water. On a calm day the boats come close enough for you to feel the spray.

Which boat tours pass the waterfall?

Our boat trips from Konyaaltı follow the cliffs of Antalya, and both the pirate boat and the Relax boat tour include a waterfall stop in their programme. Whether the boat stops directly at Düden or at another point depends on the sea and on that day's route, which the captain decides in the morning.

When the waterfall looks best

The falls carry the most water in spring and early summer, when snowmelt from the Taurus Mountains feeds the river. In late summer the flow is smaller but still impressive from the sea. Morning and early afternoon light is best for photos.

What else is on the trip

Besides the waterfall you get swim stops in clear bays below the cliffs, lunch on board and a view of the old town from the sea. The pirate boat adds games and a foam party for children; the Relax tour is quieter and shorter.

Practical information

Both tours leave from the fishermen's harbour in Konyaaltı, with hotel pickup available from most resorts between Kemer and Belek. Prices start at €35 for adults, including hotel transfer. For the pickup time from your hotel, contact us on WhatsApp (+90 538 708 80 50) at least one day before.

Frequently asked questions

Can we swim at the waterfall? The water right under the falls is rough and cold. The swim stops are in calmer bays nearby.

Is the upper Düden waterfall the same? No, the upper falls are inland in a park in the city. The lower falls are the ones you see from the sea.
